Celebrated Celebrity DUI Crash

July 30, 2008 · 1 Comment

Shia LaBeouf, 23-year-old, the actor best known for his role in this summer’s smash hit Indiana Jones and last year’s Transformers, has been charged in a drunk driving accident (DUI Count) early Sunday morning (July 27, 2008). This happens after his big night out at the West Hollywood hotspot Troubadour Club.

The accident happens when LaBeouf was allegedly making a left turn when his Ford F-150 pickup struck another car and rolled over twice, ending with the crash.

The DUI crash left LaBeouf with a messed-up hand and injury in the head and his female passengers, as well as the driver of the other vehicle, suffering from minor injuries. LaBeouf is now nursing his wounds in a Los Angeles hospital. The actor’s misdemeanor citation will be heard early of August.

With all the popularity and great privileges that they come to grab, who would think how these Hollywood stars would come to ruin their lives by not taking proper measures of concerns in driving. Being on their stature, they should have been fully aware of the dangers of drinking and driving.

Because of the fact that we continue to hear of Hollywood’s talents being involved in DUI abuses, others would comment that these talents have relentlessly gone on to ruin their careers and lives in alcohol and drug-fueled accidents.

“Completely irresponsible people”, all I can say especially on these one. These linked of people have messed up and even worsen our road accident situations, thus, must have to be dealt with as severely as possible.

As I can relate with the victim of this sullen DUI crash, I would advice the woman who suffered injuries in the drunk driving accident, to come forward and file the constitutive claim for compensation from the actor. This is but necessary move for the woman-victim in order for her to get compensated for her injuries.

This move will not only dwell for the victim’s personal concerns but also as a deterrent move.
